Bridal Shower Fun and Banner and Garlands

Miss Audrey hanging out waiting for the fun to start...she had a cold and also crashed and bumped her head this morning, so she is sporting an "owie" near her eye.  Learning to walk is hard!
Great food...brunch time so we had breakfast casserole, muffins, banana bread and fruits with dip!
And of course a beautiful cake...
And Miss Elena who is pouting because she can't open any presents!
But she soon recovers...
Here is the banner I made from 4 x 6 cards I found at Michaels for $4.99--the package included 10 light pink rick rack edged cards and 10 slightly larger dark pink cards.  I just punched holes in the top of the cards and strung them on a bright lime green ribbon.  I used a large marker to write the letters and put hearts on the middle and end cards.
I thought it was really cute!
On the tables we scattered hearts I punched out from a variety of scrapbooking cardstock in shades of pink.
And I sewed a garland of the hearts to put around the edge of the gift table. I bought a large heart punch and went crazy with it!
The poor bride-to-be had been in the emergency room that morning and wasn't feeling too good, in fact we weren't even sure she would make it at all...but she did get to come and open her gifts!
We ate, we talked...
Great way to spend a Saturday morning...

I had a problem with my linky party code. I thought it was set up as a thumbnail party but it wasn't. It's all fixed now but can you add your link again? I''m so sorry for the inconvenience. :( xoxo
