I did a bit of thrift store shopping this weekend. I visited a flea market…it was so hot, I felt sorry for those people setting up out there in the sun! It was 86 degrees at 10 am and they were out there in the blazing sun…
It was $5…looks like new construction with old barn wood…one of the sides is a barn red. I love the rope handle. And, it came with the pine cones…always a plus!
And I went to the Salvation Army stores (we have two in town) and found these two trays full of sewing, crafting and jewelry making supplies for $3. I got fabric marking pencils (nice ones, not like my 1977 ones that don’t wash out), a magnetic pin tray (never had one of those), tons of safety pins, a rotary cutter, a really sharp pair of older scissors (I have this thing for scissors), two bottles of Fray Check (can’t live without it!), two packs of Schmetz universal sewing machine needles (cost $3-4 each in stores), a small screwdriver, some hooks and eyes, and lots of others things not pictured.
And the two interlocking drawer organizing bins the stuff came in…doesn’t get any better than that!
