Cute toddler dresses

                                                             100_4024
I made several sweet dresses for my great niece Audrey’s birthday.  You might have seen this dress which I made out of a tshirt and some knit fabric.  I actually used a pattern for this dress, Butterick 5019.

It’s a really cute pattern and also very easy, it wraps around and ties in the back.  She’s just out of the bath here, so her hair is wet.

I love the combination of orange and pink here!

This cute little dress is also simple and it has a vintage feel to the fabric.  The color is a 1950s blue with nosegays scattered around.  I adapted a pattern that I had which was the wrong size.

The back is closed with two vintage plastic buttons from my button stash!

Very easy closure…I have not seen Audrey in this dress yet, but I am sure it is cute!
I am linking to these great parties!

Oh, isn't she precious. Those dresses are darling! I wouldn't mind a top like that 2nd dress. I'm just getting back into sewing after about 40 years. I got a book on how to make patterns out of existing clothes you have.
