Rock Owls

100B6110
This little guy now lives in Denver with my Package Pal Michelle…

I found this blog with owls painted on rocks and thought I would give it a try…

100_6123

and see if I could make the owls look like owls.

100_6122

I used black and brown Sharpies to freehand the design and then covered them with a thin coat of Mod Podge to protect the design.

I even painted a peacock feather on a rock…it didn’t show up too well because it was a dark rock, but still pretty cool!

Your owls are very sweet, Ellen! My Aunt used to collect and paint rocks, so this brought back some fond memories :)
