Scrabble tile thumb tacks

I was looking at my big gallon size Ziploc bag full of Scrabble tiles and came up with the idea to make some thumb tacks to go on my new bulletin board at work.

I used E6000 to attach regular tacks to the back of the tiles.  I made 26 of them, yup, one each letter of the alphabet.

Loving how they look!  I did put a coat of Mod Podge on the top of the tiles to make them a bit shiny.

They look cute with the map on the bulletin board!

What can’t a person do with Mod Podge and Scrabble tiles?

  2. Very creative and a great use for the tiles. I can see some Bulletin Spelling Bee's in the future. A fun teaching tool, too. You get a high score for the use of the letter Z...zinger of a tip!
