This has been a long time coming, but I do think I am done with my bedroom makeover. It was a gradual and slow process, but I am happy with it all now!
The most recent addition has been this vinyl saying over my bed…it was free from Vinyl Lettering—they were having a giveaway to everyone who liked them on Facebook…I liked them and got this perfect vinyl decal in seriously just a few days!
My bedside tables are refinished…
New bulletin board above my newly refinished dresser…
A new quilt that yes, I actually bought a quilt and it was new! Didn’t make it, didn’t get it from a thrift store, not a hand me down…just NEW!
It’s a Martha Stewart quilt, I bought it at Macy’s and it was $260 regular price. Well, it was half off, so that made it better but not good enough (it was king size because I have a queen size bed and I wanted it to be big enough for a bedspread). So there was some sort of Friends and Family sale which gave me another 25% off, so now we are at $97.50. I still didn’t like that price, so the clerk told me he could take another 20% off if I opened a charge card. Well I did open a charge, but then closed it after I paid it off in a few weeks. So that brings the king size quilt down to $78. More than I would usually pay but I absolutely loved this print and it went with everything in my room so perfectly!
So I have it and it has lots of colors of blue in it! I love blue, maybe you hadn’t noticed yet!
I love seashells so I have those all over the place!
This cute little wool flower wreath that I made to go with these black and white pictures.
My re arranged chest…love this piece, I have had it since before my son was born, I bought it cheap and stripped and refinished it.
My necklace hanger….works great!
Seriously this thing is so handy and makes it so easy to be organized!
My blue sheets that match my quilt (but aren’t the sheets that came with the quilt because they were much too expensive!)
And I almost forgot this refinished chair that matches one of the blues in the quilt exactly! Looks great in there!
That’s it! It is a very relaxing calm room and I love it!
I am linking up to these great parties!
